Cells of every life-form are engineered with an irreducible order and genetic code. Who would believe a TV salesman selling organically formed smartphones that bubbled up from swamp mud? Some are selling a similar idea.
Consider a living cell. The complex order of each organelle within each cell makes up an amazing machine made of thousands of nanomachines cooperating with each other. The wonder of proteins synthesized by RNA and motor proteins like kinesins walking along cytoskeleton leave atheistic evolutionists conjecturing how these cells could be engineered by chance (Kinesins). Envisioning the processes of the cell reveals a complex order that must have been designed and could not have simply bubbled up from marsh muck. Likewise, consider DNA, a genetic code found within the cell of every form of life. There are about 37 trillion cells in the human body and each containing that person’s genetic code [1]. People learn to communicate in complex languages and to intelligently design sophisticated computer codes. This is a sign of intelligent life. The SETI Institute searches for extraterrestrial intelligence seeking to find deliberate signals in the observable Universe. If SETI received a code from space being a millionth in size to any strand of DNA, then they would declare the existence of intelligent life somewhere else in the Universe. Yet, SETI has conveniently missed the code and proof of intelligently-designed life.
According to evolution’s abiogenesis, nature supposedly formulated its own genetic code against the odds, and this code came to contain more than a trillion bits of data in the simplest life forms that are known to exist. No nonsymbiotic life has been discovered with a simpler genome than the trillion bits of code in the bacteria, E. coli. Codes can neither make themselves nor be formed by chance, and yet evolution conveniently presumes that DNA did form by chance. Because codes must be designed intelligently, DNA must have been designed intelligently by the Creator.
American Astronomical Society’s Division for Planetary Sciences has published an article proposing SETI expand their scope in their official publication of Icarus. Here is the abstract,
It has been repeatedly proposed to expand the scope for SETI, and one of the suggested alternatives to radio is the biological media. Genomic DNA is already used on Earth to store non-biological information. Though smaller in capacity, but stronger in noise immunity is the genetic code. The code is a flexible mapping between codons and amino acids, and this flexibility allows modifying the code artificially. But once fixed, the code might stay unchanged over cosmological timescales; in fact, it is the most durable construct known. Therefore it represents an exceptionally reliable storage for an intelligent signature, if that conforms to biological and thermodynamic requirements. Simple arrangements of the code reveal an ensemble of arithmetical and ideographical patterns of the same symbolic language. Accurate and systematic, these underlying patterns appear as a product of precision logic and nontrivial computing rather than of stochastic processes (the null hypothesis that they are due to chance coupled with presumable evolutionary pathways is rejected with P-value < 10–13). The patterns are profound to the extent that the code mapping itself is uniquely deduced from their algebraic representation. The signal displays readily recognizable hallmarks of artificiality, among which are the symbol of zero, the privileged decimal syntax and semantical symmetries. Besides, extraction of the signal involves logically straightforward but abstract operations, making the patterns essentially irreducible to any natural origin. Plausible ways of embedding the signal into the code and possible interpretation of its content are discussed.
