How could anyone in the 12 century AD have seen a stegosaurus to carve one in stone when supposedly stegosauruses were extinct before the existence of man? Will someone please explain how this happened?

I would like to say and believe that dinosaurs lived not millions of years before as science said. They’re also created by God. Praise God Jesus Christ.
