Who is added to the Church: the baptized or the saved? The answer is clear in Acts 2.

“And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved” (Acts 2:47).

When were the saved added?

“Then those who gladly received his word were baptized and added to them that day about three thousand souls” (Acts 2:41).

Why are both those baptized and those saved the same?

“Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ into the release of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit'” (Acts 2:38, cf. Acts 10:47-48).

Wait. Who added these to the Church? The Lord did. Did the Apostles or Church ever vote to add members? No. The Lord adds you to the Church.
