Global Warming Climate Change

The idea of global warming should not bother anyone too much, because the universe is going to burn. People will continue to live on earth to the very end and there won’t be another worldwide flood just burning. If global warming is true, it may cause some flooding, a slight rise in levels of the sea, and more rain for fruitful seasons for farms in a larger fertile crescent. This global warming should not bother people too much, since people cannot directly destroy the earth and make it completely unlivable. This is not to say that we should not be concerned about our environment, since we can hurt it from a drop of poison in a cup of water to thousands of gallons of waste dumped into a living river. We should be more concerned about the certain coming of global burning, which includes the burning of the entire universe.

Global Burning

Yes, there will be a burning of the whole universe. There is a book proved by numerous predictions, scientific foreknowledge, undeniable miracles, and amazing occurrences of people, even rivals, changing their minds to support its message. This ancient text written about 2,000 years ago across 1,600 years by 40 different writers has been preserved declaring the coming event of the burning of the universe. This book teaches that the heavens and the earth including the whole universe will be burned and dissolved with a roar, and that the heavens and the earth are reserved for fire on “the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly” (2 Pet 3:7, 10, 12).

In Flaming Fire

The Bible teaches that the earth will be kept livable for man until the Lord Jesus Christ comes, and until then, things will be as normal (Gen 8:22). The world’s global-warming theory should be of some concern though it won’t be the cause of the end of this world and certainly not the universe. The burning of the universe should be of the foremost concern for those without Christ. Christ will be “…revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,” (2 Thess 1:7–9). People should be very concerned about this judgment after global burning if they do not know God and are not obeying the Gospel. If you know God and are obeying the Gospel, then you’ve got nothing to worry about yourself, but you should be concerned about other loved ones who do not know God and who are not obeying the Gospel. They need to know, so tell them.

Hope for the Faithful

Christians should have hope in this event. When Christ comes, then the bodies of all Christians alive and dead will be instantly changed and resurrected into immortal and incorruptible bodies before the burning of the universe (1 Cor 15:50–54). In 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, Paul revealed,

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.

Being transformed instantly into new bodies, Christians will meet the Lord in the air and always be with Him.

The Persecution Gathers

Know that just before the destruction of the earth by burning, Revelation 20 shows that Satan will be released from the abyss and deceive the nations again. Satan and his army will gather together, march, and surround the saints and the beloved city. Then fire will come from Heaven and consume them, and the devil will finally go to the Lake of Fire and will be tormented day and night, forever and ever. Christ will appear, and before Jesus, the heavens and the earth including the entire universe will be gone as 2 Peter describes this will be by burning. After these things, there will be the great judgment as presented in 2 Thessalonians 1 and in Revelation 20. Death and Hades along with people whose names are not in the book of life, because of evil deeds, will be thrown into the Lake of Fire.

The Last Days

When will this happen? When will Jesus come and the Universe be burned up? We are already in the last days (Heb 1:1–2). The world has been in the last days for centuries starting from Christ. Other than this, Jesus reported, “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only” (Matt. 24:36, Mark 13:32). Peter reported, “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief,” (2 Pet 3:10). Therefore, Jesus revealed, “Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect” (Matt. 24:44). Paul preached, “The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent, because He has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He has appointed; and of this He has given assurance to all by raising Him from the dead” (Acts 17:30–31). You must be prepared for the Lord to come.

Will Not Pass Away

Jesus declared, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away” (Matt 24:35). He professed, “The one who rejects Me and does not receive My words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day” (John 12:48). His words in the Scriptures reveal the exact moment of salvation.

I hope grace and peace in Christ to all who read this.
