To those considering the services from the Florida Women’s Center,
An abortion may be more than you expect. The termination of a pregnancy is the termination of the heartbeat and brainwaves of a human fetus, who has a uniquely personal genetic code. The human fetus is not a lump of tissue, but a human life. The value of our lives does not change because of one’s appearance, one’s physical development, or one’s mental development. Please, see more for yourself about “Fetal Development” from MedlinePlus’ Medical Encyclopedia, a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
The Florida Women’s Center uses only one surgical procedure called, “Dilation and Evacuation” (“FAQs.” Florida Women’s Center, Inc. 22 August 2012.). The procedure evacuates the uterus of a human being while shredding tissue, dismembering, crushing bone, and may also include crushing the little one’s skull. Human life will cease by these cruel and inhumane procedures. How is it morally acceptable to treat another human being like this? Ask the abortion providers what happens to the fetus. Ask if this human life will be dismembered and torn apart. Ask them about the fetus’ heartbeat, brainwaves, unique genetic code, and development. Shouldn’t you know what is going to happen?
Women seeking to “terminate a pregnancy” are actually facing a woman’s choice to give her child life or death. Consider adoption. Consider anything other than abortion. Why give yourself to such evil? Don’t do something that you will very likely regret for the rest of your life. It may seem hard, but no matter the life situation you are in and whatever tough times you may be facing, you can make the moral decision to save the life of your child. Don’t expect clinics like “The Florida Women’s Center, Inc.”, who profit from abortions, to mention the violence of an abortion or any psychological trauma that a woman may undergo.
Some looking into this clinic may be Christians, please reconsider. Truly, pregnant women are already mothers of that unborn child. While Jesus was in the womb, Mary was already “the mother of the Lord” (Luke 1:42). This unborn human being is already a child. See, Elizabeth “conceived a son” in her womb, who “leaped in the womb” upon hearing Mary’s voice (Luke 1:35-45). Think deeply about how God made you. His Spirit says,
“For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well” (Psa. 139:13-14).
What if these are the words of your child? Listen to Jesus Christ.
“And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a little child and set him by Him, and said to them, ‘Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great‘” (Luke 9:47-48, cf. Mark 9:36-37).
May God help us all to value life,
